Who are you?

 

Virgin Pulse is looking for a Product Manager, Engagement that will be a hybrid Marketer / Product Manager to drive member engagement throughout our Wellbeing and Health product lines. Engagement channels will include targeted email, SMS, and push notification campaigns in addition to collaborating with other product managers to enhance our products to drive further engagement. You are highly analytical, passionate about delivering high quality engagement experiences, and energized by working closely with smart, talented, and results-focused teammates in a highly interactive environment. You lead by using analytics, data, and research to identify opportunities that will drive engagement with our products, developing end-to-end experiences for these journeys, and measuring the effectiveness of your ideas via A/B testing.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

 

  • Own and drive member engagement metric improvements
  • Partner with product, marketing, and communications teams to formulate engagement strategy and align with leadership
  • Develop personalized, highly targeted and compelling engagement journeys across product email, SMS, and notification channels to drive engagement with our products based on a deep understanding of customer data, needs, and behaviors
  • Design and drive the product engagement roadmap. Juggle tradeoffs and understand constraints, finding elegant solutions to complex problems. Continually identify and implement improvements based on ongoing customer research, market/competitive analysis, and product performance indicators
  • Work tightly with product, engineering, data science, design, content and other teams to identify, develop, and swiftly deliver delighting engagement experiences
  • Dig deep into product performance and member trends with data science, product analytics and UX research to gain insights that inform which engagement experiences to test; learn quickly from quantitative and qualitative feedback; iterate approach with urgency based on learnings
  • Implement A/B testing to help strategize and improve the performance of product campaigns
  • Use existing segments and build new list pulls for engagement experiences using data from data warehouse. Partner with marketing and developer team for additional custom target audience criteria
  • Provide analysis of engagement A/B test results and recommendations for improving their efficiency

What you bring to the Virgin Pulse team

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • 3-5+ years of marketing or product management experience
  • Ability to structure, manage, and coordinate multiple complex cross-functional projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels?
  • Possessing the maturity and capability to interact and influence across multiple levels in a global matrixed organization
  • Natural collaborator, with excellent communication skills with customers, peers, colleagues and executives
  • Self-starter with the ability to proactively identify opportunities and projects
  • Analytical, with the ability to make decisions using both quantitative and qualitative data and defend decisions
  • Experience crafting a product strategy and vision, and translating that into an agile & iterative roadmap
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Microstrategy, and Mixpanel or other equivalent BI and marketing automation tools
  • Healthcare / health tech experience is a plus
  • BA/BS degree, or equivalent experience; STEM/technology background a plus

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges up to $100,100 annually. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for 10% target bonus/variable compensation as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
