Job Summary

The role of Team Lead, Data Transfer is responsible for supporting the data transfer team with initial setup and automation of data file transfers as well as monitor data file transfer performance to proactively identify and resolve issues.  

 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities/Duties

  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of Virgin Pulse products
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of Virgin Pulse data file transfer capabilities and protocols
  • Partner with Account Management and Delivery Team Leads to prioritize and execute upon client commitments.
  • Serve as internal and client-facing point of escalation for data transfer and EFT activities.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of our Data Transfer and EFT methodology.
  • Partner directly with the Product team to understand new features and provide training to Data Transfer team members as required.
  • Engage in detailed analysis of EFT issues to determine the source and identify when an issue must be escalated to the appropriate department and Director’s attention.
  • Respond to and resolve routine requests and questions.
  • Develop, implement, and enhance processes to drive overall performance of file transfers.
  • Perform additional duties as requested.

 

 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Support team with technical and operational aspects of Data Transfer as needed to meet SLAs and client commitments
  • Ensure team follows standard processes and support clear lines of ownership and accountability.
  • Meet with team members on a regular basis to provide mentoring, discuss performance and work on individual development.
  • Manage and monitor distribution of Data Transfer case workload amongst team members to ensure on-time and accurate completion of deliverables.
  • Develop a team culture that emphasizes quality end-to-end delivery, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Complete employee reviews and provide Leadership team with feedback/recommendations on salary adjustments and promotions.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Statistics/Information Science, or equivalent, in related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of professional work experience in data management, information systems.
  • Willingness to learn new EFT and monitoring tools.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Experience with GlobalScape, MOVEIt and AWS preferred.
